Discussion (feel free to let this conversation move where it needs to go):
  • Are there any questions that seem difficult, but you think your students will do well?
    • How did you teach that concept?
  • Work through any "red" questions and discuss the following questions in relation to each:
    • What is it about the question that would cause the majority of your students to struggle?
    • Is there anyone in the group with that question marked "green"?
    • What strategies could you use to help your students do better on this question?
  • After working through the red questions:
    • Are there any common characteristics among the questions that you predict your students will struggle with?
    • Are there any questions that your entire table group had as "red"?
  • Repeat process with "yellow" questions.
  • Other questions to consider:
    • What tier-2 vocabulary was used throughout the exam? Would this affect students' understanding of the question?
    • What types of visual sources are used? What types of questions are being asked in relation to the visual?
